Self-Pitch at Stone Pit Meadows
Get back to nature and pitch up in our beautiful 5 acre wildflower meadow, complete with 3 ponds, including one with a platform for wild swimming!
For 60 days over Summer 2024 we are offering 7 self-pitches (see site map for pitch locations).
Tents
5 tent pitches
Each individually mown pitch enjoys privacy, being one of only 7 total pitches spread out in the 5 acre meadow, each sensitively carved out of the wildflowers. Limited to 2 tents, and 4 guests, per pitch you can be assured of a peaceful relaxing break.
Prices
Fri & Sat 2 night min stay
- 1 tent, 2 guests – £30 per night
- Additional guest – £5 per night*
*Maximum of 4 guests total per pitch, in max of 2 tents
Campers
2 camper pitches with electric points
Two camper pitches with plug in points, mown sensitively into the wildflowers at the top of the 5 acre meadow. Two of only 7 total pitches spread out in the 5 acre meadow.
Access to the camper pitches is across a grass track, which is used only by camper traffic so remains accessible throughout the Summer months.

- 1 camper, 2 guests – £45 per night
- Additional guest – £7.50 per night*
*Maximum of 4 guests total per pitch
NB: Use of the on-site toilet is included. There are no facilities on site to dispose of chemical toilet waste.
Amenities
Amenities available to the Wildflower Pitches include:
- shared toilet / shower facilities;
- small outdoor kitchen for washing up;
- drinking water tap;
- shared outside electric point.
Access to the private meadows, wild swimming pond and ancient woodland exclusively available to Stone Pit Meadows guests. In addition there is a public footpath running through the farm that will take you past the vines and through miles of High Weald countryside, to quintessential Kent pubs and local landmarks, or bring your bike and take to Stone Pit Lane which is part of the National Cycle Network.
Extras
Camping isn’t camping without…:
- The dog! – £5 per dog (kept under control please!)
- A firepit with bucket of logs, kindling & firelighters – £15
