Guests can take a wander around the ancient woodland, vines and wildflower meadows and enjoy a refreshing dip in our wild swimming pond. Then end the day sipping a glass of wine around a blazing firepit, whilst gazing up at the clearest and darkest of starry night skies.

Stone Pit Meadows offers two custom-built Shepherds Huts and three Bell Tents, all furnished to a high standard and with their own private outdoor seating areas. A luxury stay in peaceful surroundings is guaranteed.

Explore the medieval High Weald AONB

Guests at Stone Pit Meadows are afforded unfettered exploration rights around 12 acres of ancient woodland, ponds and wildflower meadows. Explore the rolling countryside that typifies the High Weald AONB landscape. Getting further afield could not be simpler as a public footpath runs adjacent to the site. Guests can easily access routes on foot through the stunning AONB landscape that surrounds the meadows, with quality watering holes within walking distance to be found in every direction!

The site is surrounded by numerous sites of historic interest, as well as steam trains, castles, vineyards and much more. A water sports centre on the River Rother offering kayaking, paddleboarding etc is only 2 miles away, whilst the iconic Cinque Port town of Rye is a 20-minute drive.
